RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Merchant Application Credit Specialists makes customer service a top priority. You will work closely with sales partners and other cross functional teams to review, interpret, process and resolve pending applications.

Analyze, review, interpret, determine course of action, and coordinate follow up of pending applications
-
Collect information to finalize the application underwriting process
-
Make outbound calls as necessary, and provide frequent status updates to our sales offices and cross functional teams

Promptly correspond and investigate application issues, inconsistencies, or questions with merchants and supporting departments
-
Communicate discrepancies and generate solutions for merchant applications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: (Required)
-
HS/GED and 0 years experience
-
Computer skills, including MS Word and Excel
-
At least 1-2 years of application processing or industry experience
-
Understanding of credit reports, processing and risk as well as financial, checking and processing statements
-
Must be 18 years of age or older
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: (Desired but not required)

College Degree

Exceptional verbal and written communication

Uncanny attention to detail possessing a sound accuracy record on previous data entry work

Capable of organizing work for self and others to maximize productivity and increase efficiency

Ability to meet aggressive deadlines and juggle multiple priorities
