What You’ll DoAs a Credentialed Veterinary Technician, you’ll play an essential role in delivering high-quality medical care and supporting daily hospital operations. Responsibilities may include:
- Assisting veterinarians during exams, treatments, and surgical procedures
- Monitoring anesthesia and patient vital signs during procedures
- Collecting and processing laboratory samples
- Administering medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
- Maintaining accurate patient records and treatment notes
- Educating pet owners on preventive care and post-treatment instructions
- Preparing and sterilizing instruments and treatment areas
- Supporting inventory management and clinical organization
- Helping mentor and support team members as needed
- Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, or LVT) in good standing
- Graduate of an accredited Veterinary Technician program
- Strong understanding of veterinary nursing and patient care
- Ability to safely and compassionately handle animals
- Experience with anesthesia monitoring and laboratory procedures preferred
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Leadership or training experience is a plus
