As part of the GFiber Brand group, the External Communications team is responsible for defining the brand narrative and telling the story of GFiber across multiple platforms. This role will bring our brand to life across all platforms.   

Role Description

As a Creative Writer on the Brand team at GFiber, you‘ll apply your originality and experience to capturing and conveying the superior product and experiential moments that define the GFiber brand, product, service, value and experience – presented across all major media, content, channels, and experiences. You have the ability to perform your role in a flexible, evolving environment and must be open to new influences and inspiration. Your work must be rooted in a deep and clear understanding of GFiber’s products and services. Above all, you will make the most of every opportunity to develop breakthrough creative, consistent with the emerging GFiber brand, and be able to take and provide clear direction and creative feedback that pushes work forward.
In this role, you will be a part of External Communications on the GFiber Brand team. You will collaborate and align across executive stakeholders, building credibility through exceptional work and your ability to build brand loyalty. You'll utilize writing, editorial, content management, product knowledge, creative, and brand voice to help shape customer experiences through compelling stories. As you gain experience in this role, you will have the opportunity to take on progressively greater responsibility, potentially mentoring junior writers or leading larger, more complex campaigns.

In this role, you'll:

  • Create and deliver high-impact content across a variety of formats (e.g., campaigns, retail, digital, web, OOH, experiential) while maintaining a consistent brand tone, voice, and messaging across all customer touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, communications, product, digital, design, creative) to ensure content aligns with brand strategy, adapts to specific market needs, and supports creative campaigns across multiple platforms.
  • Develop and adapt brand messaging to differentiate GFiber in the market, ensuring creative content is tailored for various platforms, from short-form copy like headlines and billboards to long-form scripts for videos and other media.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging content formats, exploring new ways to engage audiences and lead the adoption of innovative content strategies that keep GFiber ahead of market trends.
  • Leverage data, insights, and performance metrics to inform content strategy, measure campaign effectiveness, and suggest improvements for future initiatives, ensuring creative work drives business goals.

At a minimum we'd like you to have:

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent practical writing experience.
  • 3 years of experience writing for marketing, advertising, consumer product, technology environment.
  • 3 years of experience using digital applications (such as Microsoft Word, Google Docs or other) to develop written content.
  • Experience with writing for web pages and/or digital applications.

It's preferred if you have:

  • Experience with consumer technology, experience-focused and/or lifestyle brands in the digital space.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and work collaboratively and iteratively with peers, cross-functional stakeholders, and executive leaders.
  • Fluency in Spanish language, written and spoken.
  • Experience writing conversational, engaging, and relatable copy for B2C technology brands.
  • Portfolio of original work, along with proven experience writing with impact about technology or consumer experience in a way that cuts through the marketing clutter.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $87,200 - $127,600 + bonus + cash award + benefits. As pay varies by location, your recruiter will share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
