Role Overview:
We are seeking a creative and experienced Creative Video Lead to manage and elevate our video content pipeline. This role is responsible for overseeing the full video production lifecycle—from planning through delivery—and for mentoring a growing team of editors. If you are passionate about storytelling, visual communication, and digital innovation, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the editing team: Guide, train, and support junior editors while ensuring videos match brand standards.
- Edit videos: Turn raw footage into polished, engaging content for marketing, ads, social media, education, and testimonials.
- Work with other teams: Collaborate with designers, writers, and project managers to meet goals and deadlines.
- Oversee post-production: Manage file organization, color correction, sound, graphics, and review cycles.
- Add motion graphics: Use animation and motion design to make videos more dynamic.
- Stay up to date: Follow new editing tools and trends to improve workflows.
- Ensure quality: Check final videos for visual and audio quality, making sure they’re optimized for web and social platforms.
- Manage time and projects: Handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and communicate clearly in a remote team.
- Share ideas: Suggest new formats and creative approaches for campaigns and content.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of professional video editing experience in digital marketing, content production, or agency settings (portfolio required).
- Expertise in editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
- Strong skills in motion graphics, color correction, audio editing, and transitions.
- Proven ability to mentor or oversee other editors (leadership experience preferred).
- Deep understanding of visual storytelling—pacing, rhythm, and narrative arcs.
- Platform-specific optimization expertise (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
- Highly organized multitasker able to deliver on multiple projects in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
- Clear communicator and cross-functional collaborator.
- Detail-oriented with full ownership of final deliverables.
