We’re looking for a Creative Strategy Lead to join Snap Inc! As a Creative Strategy Lead, the successful candidate will be a natural creative leader acting as a catalyst to unlock revenue through creative ideas and strategies. Creative Strategy leadership will look to the Creative Strategy Lead to act as owners of their vertical’s creative business, finding proactive custom and scaled strategies to drive growth, while maximizing team impact. Day-to-day, you will work with the Snapchat Sales team, key brand partners, and their agencies to create and implement best-in-class creative advertising campaigns on Snapchat, while also managing other members of the Creative Strategy team to deliver great work. A Creative Strategy Lead acts as the creative engine pushing the work of a verticalized Creative Strategy team to new heights.


What you’ll do:

  • Lead, manage, and develop a team of creative strategists 

  • Ideate, create, and deliver world class advertising campaigns while also acting as an expert within your vertical/market

  • Communicate with senior partners across brand and agency to understand their business goals

  • Provide guidance and direction to creative strategists as they develop ideas, strategies, and associated presentation materials, while directly managing the creative strategy for 1 or more priority accounts 

  • Work with Sales leadership to develop and implement long-term creative strategy against business objectives

  • Collaborate with cross-functional team leads to drive vertical solutions

  • Partner with regional creative strategy leads to implement processes and support career development of team members

  • Represent your vertical or market at large client/agency industry events when necessary 


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong executive presence, comfort leading senior stakeholders

  • Proven thought leadership in your field

  • Experience using data and insights to unlock creative thinking

  • Keen understanding of how brands fit into Snapchat’s overall business

  • Ability to work with clients to understand their business priorities 

  • Unparalleled presentation skills

  • Track record of developing outstanding creative advertising for mobile

  • Track record of managing people in a high growth environment
     

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • BA in Marketing, communications, business management, a related area of study or equivalent experience

  • 8+ years of experience in brand marketing/advertising or another related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of brand marketing and how to build brilliant strategies to solve for business needs

  • Experience in developing and empowering team members to deliver outstanding creative executions

  • Excellent presentation and communications skills 

  • A history presenting keynote seminar’s to large external audiences

  • Ability to command a room and succinctly articulating thought-leading advertising solutions 

  • Proven ability to juggle multiple projects at once and to inspire others by example

  • Experience working in Google suite of products (Google Slides, Sheets, Docs, etc.), Adobe suite, and Keynote

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

Zone A (CA, WA, NYC):

The base salary range for this position is $157,000-$235,000 annually.


 

Zone B:

The base salary range for this position is $149,000-$223,000 annually.

Zone C:

The base salary range for this position is $133,000-$200,000 annually.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
