KCRA 3/KQCA-TV My58 (CW), the Hearst Television affiliate in Sacramento, CA is looking for an Intern to receive hands-on experience in our Creative Services department. You are organized, a detail-oriented team player with exceptional written and verbal skills, and the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively. A positive attitude and professional demeanor are essential along with the flexibility to work in a rapidly changing environment.
Creative Services Responsibilities include:
- Produce, write, shoot and edit compelling on-air promos and image campaigns from start to finish that increases viewer interest, the brand awareness and ratings for all multi-platforms
- Organize and build projects from concept through delivery, working with video editors, sound editors and on-air announce talent and video editing
- Create station on-air image, entertainment promos and graphics- this can include daily program episodes for air
- Help with street team events
- Hands-on editing and online editing management
- Contribution to brainstorms across all departments
