Creative Production Associate, Production & Experiences
Pali Mountain | Running Springs, CA
Full-Time | Hourly | On-Site
Schedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional evenings/weekends for special events
Reports to: Creative Director, Brand & Experience
Pay: $24–$30/hour
The Role
Pali Mountain is building a new creative production team focused on one thing: bringing our brands to life in the real world. From immersive environments and large-scale activations to events, property transformations, branded moments, and unexpected details, our job is to create experiences people actually remember.
We’re looking for a Creative Production Associate, Production & Experiences who wants to help make those ideas happen.
This is a hands-on role for someone who is organized, resourceful, curious, and energized by figuring things out. One day you might be tracking budgets and vendor quotes, the next sourcing an oddly specific prop, coordinating materials for a build, preparing an event environment, or jumping into an installation because that’s what it takes to get the final experience right.
You’ll work directly with the Creative Director, Brand & Experience to take approved concepts from “What if we did this?” to “It’s happening” to “WOW!”
We’re looking for someone who is comfortable taking a goal, figuring out the path forward, and asking the right questions along the way. Their natural response to a challenge is: “I’ll figure it out.”
And when the job is technically done, your next thought should probably be: “How can we take this one step further?”
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate creative projects, activations, events, and installations from approved concept through execution
- Source props, decor, materials, equipment, furniture, and production solutions
- Research vendors, request quotes, coordinate orders, and manage deliveries
- Maintain project timelines, track approved budgets and purchasing details, and flag potential production risks or delays
- Support hands-on production including basic fabrication, prop building, painting, assembly, staging, setup, and installation
- Coordinate installation logistics including setup, breakdown, changeovers, returns, storage, and post-project organization
- Maintain organized inventory of props, decor, reusable activation assets, materials, and production supplies
- Consider production needs across cost, materials, vendors, timing, durability, safety, storage, transport, and reuse
- Coordinate with Marketing, Media, Operations, Maintenance, Programs, Food & Beverage, and other departments as needed
Who We’re Looking For
- Thinks beyond the basic ask and naturally looks for ways to elevate an idea or experience
- Takes initiative, follows through, and is comfortable working through ambiguity
- Is highly organized and able to keep multiple projects, vendors, orders, and details moving at once
- Stays flexible and solution-oriented when plans change
- Enjoys both planning and hands-on execution
- Is comfortable communicating with vendors, production partners, and internal teams
- Has good judgment about when to solve something independently and when to escalate
- Notices the details that make an experience feel finished
- Likes figuring out how something can actually be made, sourced, installed, or executed
Experience & Qualifications
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in creative production, events, experiential marketing, entertainment, hospitality, fabrication, theater, visual merchandising, or a related field
- Experience coordinating vendors, purchasing, materials, schedules, events, or project logistics
- Comfortable with quotes, budgets, spreadsheets, project trackers, and production documentation
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, project-management platforms, and common production workflows
- Experience with fabrication, scenic work, prop building, event production, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, SketchUp, Monday.com, or similar tools is a plus
- Valid driver’s license required and comfortable making occasional local supply runs
A college degree is not required. Relevant experience, initiative, judgment, and demonstrated ability to get things done matter more.
Work Environment
This is a fully on-site role at our mountain campus in Running Springs, California. Expect walking across a large campus, working indoors and outdoors in changing mountain weather, lifting or carrying materials, props, and event supplies, and getting directly involved in setups, installations, events, and resets.
Hands-on support is part of the role, but specialized construction, electrical, rigging, elevated, or technical installation work will be completed by appropriately trained staff or vendors. Reasonable accommodations are available to individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the role.
Why Pali
This is an opportunity to join a creative team at the ground floor and help shape how multiple Pali brands show up in the real world.
The work spans Pali Adventures, Pali Institute, Pali Retreat, and the broader Pali Mountain organization, with projects ranging from small experiential details to large environments, events, installations, and activations.
You’ll help turn ideas into real experiences while also helping establish the production systems, vendor relationships, materials, assets, and workflows that support the department as it grows.
Benefits: Full-time employees are eligible for Pali Mountain’s standard benefits package.
