NerdWallet’s internal creative agency, the Brand Studio Team, is looking for a talented Creative Producer to help bring our brand to life across content, social and product marketing channels. The ideal candidate is just as excited about supporting the day-to-day detailed operations of our content production arm as doing a quick-turn social edit or simple workback plan for a product marketing project. You’ll be joining our team at an exciting time. We’ve recently set up an internal agency model and have a bright opportunity to add strategic value to our creative output.

In this role, you will split your time between our content production and product marketing businesses. You will focus on your internal client relationships by keeping production plans clear, deliverables on time, and by driving alignment across roles and responsibilities. You will also work directly with contractors to operationalize against our production roadmap.

Where you can make an impact: 

• Support the Brand Studio team in all things content marketing, video production/post-production, and product marketing
• Act as the core team member connected to our Podcast, YouTube, and content marketing channels - owning all production details, including but not limited to content reviews, filming, technical support and post-production
• Partner closely with key internal stakeholders across Marketing, Legal, Finance, and Brand on SOWs and Master Service Agreements
• Source and manage multiple contractors and agencies
• Efficiently manage a robust project pipeline and corresponding project budgets
• Help produce creative across video, digital design for distribution across NerdWallet's strategic marketing channels

• Passionate about your craft. You have your finger on the pulse of strong production tools and identify opportunities to incorporate them into your workflow to find efficiencies 
• Meticulous and know the nuance of every production and this is shown in the launch calendars you create 
• Versatile,  context-switching across multiple clients and projects - in fact, you thrive in an environment where the reality may mean shifting gears from production to creative development and back into an edit on any given day
• A strategic problem-solver and look for efficiency in all aspects of the work. You understand how important every team member is to the entire production process and you collaborate effectively with them

Your experience:

We recognize not everyone will meet all of the criteria. If you meet most of the criteria below and you’re excited about the opportunity and willing to learn, we’d love to hear from you.

• 3+ years of relevant professional experience in creative production, specifically video editing and content post-production, and have a portfolio of past examples to share
• A strong understanding of marketing, design and production. You know the value of a strong brand and how it plays a significant part across an organization
• Background or familiarity with content marketing and podcast production
• Comfortable supporting complex productions
• Video editing expertise
• A consistent track record of developing and maintaining highly collaborative cross-functional internal and external relationships - working with designers, contractors, marketing partners, legal, finance, etc. to drive outcomes

• This is a remote position and a person can be located anywhere in Canada (with the exception of Quebec).
