Creative Operations Manager, APAC
Reporting into the Head of Creative Operations of The Trust International, this role oversees the production and project management of branded content programs across Asia-Pacific. Working closely with our Editorial, Design, Development, Performance and Planning teams, the Creative Operations Manager will help bring creative branded content ideas to life on The Wall Street Journal Barron’s Group’s various platforms. This role is also client-facing, acting as the point person for client communications while a custom content campaign is in production. Our work spans a diverse range of content, from written work to films and audio stories.
The ideal candidate is both a great creative project manager and client communicator— managing expectations across various stakeholders, this role is ideal for someone who loves the excitement of varied storytelling formats for a diverse mix of clients across a dynamic region. Organisational, production, time-management and communication skills are core.
Responsibilities:
Work with cross-functional and international teams to manage branded content campaigns from brief to delivery
Develop and manage internal and external timelines for multiple concurrent projects
Manage the production and delivery of mixed deliverable campaign assets, including original articles, custom landing pages, videos, animations, podcasts, and more.
Manage internal and external stakeholder needs and expectations through proactive and ongoing communication
Resourcing of the creative team and external vendors to ensure campaigns are produced and delivered on time and to budget
Skills & Experience:
7+ years of experience in creative project management/production (in-house or agency)
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proven track record for strong creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to set priorities, problem solve, multi-task and work in a rapidly changing environment
Solid organizational and people skills, with the capability to manage and collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams on complex projects
Strong experience in program management and communication tools such as Asana, Monday.com, Trello, Slack, Jira or similar
Strong understanding of media and content is a plus
Experience in branded content management is a strong advantage.
Japanese or Korean to working standard is also a strong advantage.
