Role: Creative Lead (Team Lead/AM, Creatives)

The Creative Lead (Team Lead/AM, Creatives) is responsible for designing and delivering high-quality creative assets across print, digital, and video formats while supporting coordination and alignment between India-based design teams and US stakeholders. This role requires a strong foundation in visual design, along with the ability to guide team members, manage day-to-day execution, and help establish basic performance metrics and workflows for the India creative team.

The individual in this role is hands-on in creative execution and manage people, helping ensure creative work is on-brand, on-time, and aligned with business priorities across geographies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, update, and maintain creative assets across digital, print, and basic video formats, including web, email, social media, presentations, and internal/external collateral
  • Develop original designs that align with brand guidelines and creative briefs
  • Collaborate with US-based marketing and creative stakeholders from concept development through final delivery
  • Act as a day-to-day liaison between India and US teams, helping clarify briefs, timelines, feedback, and expectations
  • Present design concepts and final deliverables to internal teams and stakeholders as needed
  • Attend feedback sessions, consolidate inputs, and ensure revisions are implemented accurately and efficiently
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to India design team and support task prioritization within the India design team
  • Assist in onboarding new team members by sharing processes, standards, and best practices
  • Support the definition and tracking of basic performance metrics for the India design team (e.g., turnaround time, revisions, on-time delivery)
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, documentation, and reuse of creative assets
  • Escalate risks, resourcing constraints, or delivery concerns proactively to senior leadership

Required Job Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in graphic design and/or video, preferably in the B2B and EdTech industry; experience working in a GCC environment is a huge plus
  • 2+ years of experience managing or leading a team, with the ability to engage, motivate, and support creative talent
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat
  • Working knowledge of video and motion tools such as Premiere Pro and After Effects
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Demonstrated proficiency in creating content across a variety of media, adjusting creative approach by channel
  • Excellent creative vision and aesthetic, with a strong understanding of current digital design trends
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly and inspiringly articulate creative ideas to team members, senior leadership, and cross-functional partners
  • Experience working with project management tools such as Workfront or similar platforms to manage workflows and timelines
  • Strong understanding of layout, color theory, typography, and digital-first design principles
  • Ability to both lead and contribute as part of a cross-functional, cross-geography team
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail
  • Openness to feedback and a willingness to grow into expanded leadership responsibilities
