Your roleYou own how fonio looks and sounds to the outside world. From our website to paid ads to our visual brand language — you set the standard and have the final say. You lead a small, high-impact creative team (Creative Strategist, Static Ads Designer, UI/UX Designer) and work closely with our Head of Content: she owns owned/organic, you own brand, paid, and web. We're B2B but want to build like a consumer brand — that's where you come in.
What to expectYou own fonio's entire visual and creative outward presence: brand, website, paid ads
You lead and grow a three-person creative team — setting direction and quality without micromanaging
You give final sign-off on creative output and hold a consistent standard across all channels
You stay hands-on enough to challenge concepts yourself and lead by example on quality
You report directly to our Director of Growth
Several years of experience as a Creative Director, Art Director, or in a comparable leadership role - ideally in a performance/brand environment
You've demonstrably built or sharpened brands and can show it through work, not just words
You enjoy leading but see yourself as an enabler, not a controller
You think brand and performance together - beautiful creative that doesn't convert isn't enough for you
German at native level + very good English
Competitive salary: €90,000–€150,000
Equity - you're building this, so you should own a piece of it.

Skills Required
- Several years of experience as a Creative Director, Art Director, or comparable leadership role
- Proven experience building or sharpening brands with a portfolio of work
- Ability to lead and grow a small creative team (hiring/mentoring/setting direction)
- Experience creating creative for brand, paid ads, and website (brand + performance)
- Hands-on creative ability to challenge concepts and deliver high-quality work
- Native-level German and very good English
