The TeamThe Creative Director is a visionary leader responsible for overseeing a team of Art Directors at Tommy. Working closely with senior leadership and relevant departments, the Creative Director will lead the concepting and execution of brand-aligned content across all touchpoints.
The RoleThe Creative Director plays a pivotal role in shaping the Tommy brand through creative leadership, overseeing the development and execution of compelling visual storytelling across all consumer touchpoints. This role partners closely with Marketing, Commercial, Production, and senior leadership teams to ensure all creative output supports the brand vision, business objectives, and consumer journey.
Key ResponsibilitiesCreative Vision and Leadership- Play a pivotal role in shaping the Tommy brand through creative that builds the brand and supports the overall business mission and objective to be the no. 1 lifestyle brand in the world.
- Inspire the creative team to produce innovative work that elevates the brand, with close consideration for the consumer journey.
- Collaborate with marketing, commercial, and production teams to infuse creative storytelling and branding across channels, both digital and print.
- Lead, mentor, and empower a team of Art Directors, providing clear feedback.
- Foster a collaborative and dynamic work environment that encourages new ideas and professional growth.
- Oversee the creative process and, together with the Executive Creative Director (ECD), uphold the highest creative standards.
- Ensure that all work presented delivers against the brief and meets high creative expectations.
- Foster the use of AI tools to best express creative ideas during presentations.
- Remain curious about industry trends and the evolving use of AI within creative processes.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to keep the brand’s visuals fresh and relevant.
- Integrate new trends and technologies into creative processes.
- Oversee the creative development of seasonal campaigns, lookbooks, and editorials, bringing a holistic creative perspective.
- Partner with production teams to maximize creative impact within available budgets.
- Conceptualize and direct photo shoots, including selecting locations, models, photographers, and stylists.
- Ensure high-quality output and adherence to the brand’s visual standards.
- Work closely with Marketing, Production, Tommy Studios and other departments to align creative efforts with overall business objectives.
- Present creative concepts and strategies to senior management and stakeholders.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in fashion art direction, with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong fashion art direction perspective and conceptual thinking skills, with an impeccable eye for detail.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Deep understanding of fashion trends, brand development, and consumer behavior.
- Innovative thinker with a passion for fashion and design.
- Ability to inspire and motivate a creative team.
- Strong network within the fashion industry.
