Core Responsibilities
The Creative Director Innovation will be part of the LEGO agency Leadership Team working closely with the Creative Director and Key Account Manager, and OLA Commerce organization, and key responsibilities include:
- Lead cutting edge innovative creative solutions for the LEGO® Brand from a creative and marketing perspective working across the PMD and OLA organization bringing campaigns to life in the AMS to especially with regard to Key Accounts and new media/channel, commerce.
- Play a key part in the creative ideation process for these projects and lead them with a matrix team, to name a few, OLA, PMD and M+C and our partners.
- Work with and guide creative teams in our Boston teams working closely with both creative and comms strategy, OLA Commerce and the creative director to implement cross-platform work for campaigns, content, landing them in the USA in particular.
- Present ideas clearly and strategically to market partners
- Imperative and critical to bring new thinking and innovation to cross functional teams
- Work across a multitude of disciplines such as B2B, B2C, including entertainment, and other areas in the business bringing together diverse disciplines to solve unique, matrixed briefs to drive the business for example.

Our LEGO Agency (OLA) is an organization that focuses on delivering best-in-class campaigns, insight driven & fit for purpose solutions across the LEGO group. The global development is driven out of The LEGO Groups head Quarter in Billund, Denmark and Boston. Location wise OLA has got 4 main Hubs based in 4 main regions – AMS, EMEA, China & APAC.
Our LEGO Agency Boston, serves the AMS markets, covering both North and South America. OLA Boston is focused on developing campaigns for the whole AMS region (with special focus on USA) including regional occasion campaigns, amplifying global campaigns to fit the USA region and localization of campaigns and is the COE for key Accounts, Walmart, Target and Amazon and develops strategies and creative for the Market and channels organization as well as audience specific for the USA. Covering full value chain from campaign strategy to final in-store solutions.
Do you have what it takes?
- Min 10+ years of relevant experience with an integrated and innovation portfolio with both a traditional agency plus tech and innovation background.
- Background in branding, art direction, digital execution and production with high level of technical , innovation, media, commerce, B2B, B2C, craftsmanship
- Able to work independently and in a matrix organization.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects at a time.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple colleagues and also to lead through influence
- Self-motivated, driven, strategic-minded and a great teammate.
- Ability to prioritize, curious about learning, and growth attitude!
- This is a Director level, individual contributor role based at 1001 Boylston St. in Boston, MA.

Compensation
The salary for this position has a range of $156,432.00 - $234,648.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
