Your main responsibilities as a Cratewash Operative will include:
- Carrying out cleaning duties to the required standards and in accordance to cleaning schedules to ensure that production is maintained.
- Distributing equipment in line with the needs of production to enable efficient running of departments.
- Unloading and storage of crates.
- Keeping the yard area clear of equipment and pallets, general house-keeping activities to ensure the site is clean and safe.
- Correct use of chemicals for specific cleaning tasks as directed by chemical suppliers and in line with COSHH.
- Correct disposal of debris.
- Strict adherence to all site policies, practices and standards.
- Awareness of health and safety requirements and encourage a safe working environment for all.
- Report any problems or damage to machinery or facilities to the Section Leader or Manager.
As our Cratewash Cleaner you will:
- Have good attention to detail and a positive, 'can-do' approach.
- Be passionate about maintaining the cleanliness of the Cratewash area
