About the Team
The group you will join is in a charge of developing the Intel High Performance Processor (P-Core), a disruptive technology that enables a broad range of devices from entry PCs to high end servers.
You will be part of a team, participating in the design of a future generation of high-performance Intel microprocessor.
In this role you will:
- Focus on process and construction technology to build best in-class products across P-core CPUs.
- The group makes use of state of the art VLSI design tools and methods, while performing deep analysis to predict and optimize the product power, area and Freq.
- Work on cutting edge Process technologies and analysis from device to APR level, frequency-power optimization, STA and PVT's, Clock distribution and quality, Power Grid planning.
- Conduct all aspects of the physical design flow including synthesis, place and route, clock tree synthesis, floor planning, static timing analysis, power/clock distribution and power analysis.
- Deep analyze results and make recommendations for current and future process needs.
- Possess expertise in various aspects of structural and physical design, including physical clock design, timing closure, coverage analysis, placing, routing, synthesis.
- Participate in the development and improvement of physical design methodologies.
- BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering
- At least 1+ years of experience in BE Design using industry EDA tools.
- Experience in TCL
- Experience with Synopsys and Cadence EDA tools – advantage
- Experience in Python – advantage
