Xylem is seeking a hands-on Sr. Manager, Finance Systems – OneStream to lead and evolve our Corporate Performance Management (CPM) platform. In this role, you will oversee the administration, support, and continuous enhancement of our OneStream application—enabling financial budgeting, forecasting, consolidations, reconciliations, reporting, and analytics across the enterprise.
This leader will work closely with Finance, FP&A, Accounting, IT, and senior leadership to ensure the OneStream platform aligns with business needs and supports accurate, timely, and compliant financial processes.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Platform OwnershipLead, mentor, and develop a team supporting OneStream and future CPM system enhancements.
Oversee administration, maintenance, and optimization of the OneStream platform and Marketplace solutions.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting cycles by guiding and resolving issues for the global user community.
Troubleshoot system and data issues during close cycles and ensure smooth system performance.
Build and enhance formulas, business rules, data connectors, workflows, and other technical components using VB.NET, SQL, or related tools.
Maintain application metadata, cube views, dashboards, forms, and security roles.
Support end users through budgeting, forecasting, and planning cycles, ensuring data accuracy, system reliability, and timely process completion.
Identify, document, and implement process improvements across financial systems and workflows.
Provide training, documentation, and audit support; ensure adherence to SOX and internal control requirements.
Partner with Finance, Accounting, and IT teams to drive system enhancements, resolve issues, and align system capabilities with business needs.
Strong functional knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, reporting, and financial statement processes.
3+ years of CPM/EPM platform experience (OneStream, Hyperion Planning/Essbase, HFM, SAP BPC, etc.).
Experience with OneStream development: data connectors, data management jobs, business rules, dashboards, drill-through models, and configuration.
Strong programming skills in VB.NET and/or C#; proficiency with SQL and object-oriented programming.
Experience with data integration, data architecture, and financial data flows.
Ability to analyze and articulate business processes and financial workflows.
Experience in structured project management or software implementation methodologies.
Ability to develop and maintain monitoring tools to ensure data accuracy and process integrity.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Able to work cross-functionally and maintain composure in high-demand situations.
Flexible schedule to support off-hours operational needs as required.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field—or equivalent experience.
