Position Overview:
We are seeking two experienced CPFR (Collaborative Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment) Managers to join our dynamic team in the consumer electronics retail sector. These roles will focus on optimizing inventory management, enhancing supply chain collaboration with partners, and driving accurate forecasting to support retail operations. The ideal candidates will bring strong analytical skills and a proven track record in inventory planning. Positions are ideally based in Minneapolis-Saint Paul, MN (MSP), with potential for hybrid or remote arrangements depending on business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead collaborative planning initiatives with retail partners, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to develop accurate demand forecasts and replenishment strategies.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and inventory levels to minimize stockouts, reduce excess inventory, and improve overall supply chain efficiency in consumer electronics categories.
- Develop and maintain CPFR models, utilizing tools like ERP systems, demand planning software, and advanced analytics to support retail merchandising and promotional planning.
- Monitor key performance indicators such as in stock, fill rates, inventory turns and forecast accuracy; identify opportunities for process improvements and implement corrective actions.
- Foster strong relationships with retail teams to ensure seamless information sharing and alignment on inventory goals.
- Conduct regular reviews of replenishment processes, including seasonal adjustments and new product launches, to adapt to fast-paced retail environments.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership on inventory strategies that align with business objectives and market demands.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
- 6-8 years of experience in inventory planning, with a strong emphasis on retail environments (consumer electronics preferred but not required).
- Proven expertise in CPFR methodologies, demand forecasting, and replenishment planning.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or advanced planning systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Strong understanding of retail supply chain dynamics, including vendor management and promotional forecasting.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in consumer electronics retail, including familiarity with high-velocity product categories and e-commerce integration.
- Knowledge of advanced analytics tools like Tableau, Power BI, or machine learning applications for forecasting.
- Residence in or willingness to relocate to Seattle, WA (SEA) or Minneapolis-Saint Paul, MN (MSP) areas for optimal collaboration with regional teams.
