Scope: Provide senior-level graphics support, driving creative art direction, high-end motion video concept design, and the production of print and multi-media products uniquely tailored to CPE IEW&S needs. Demonstrate advanced expertise in graphic design software, including Microsoft Office products, Adobe cloud and/or equivalent tools, ensuring consistent brand application across all media.

 

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Lead the creation and execution of compelling visual concepts and creative strategies across print, digital, and motion media, ensuring adherence to brand standards and organizational objectives.
  • Develop and oversee the production of print graphics integrated with high-end motion video and animation projects, ensuring seamless visual storytelling.
  • Independently design and produce strategic and executive-level communication materials supporting senior leaders, incorporating clear and impactful messaging.
  • Direct the development of storyboards, scripts, and creative planning documents to guide multimedia and video production teams.
  • Create and provide illustrations, drawings, and other print artwork.
  • Provide photographs, charts, diagrams, maps, slides, overlays, and other kinds of visual material for use in communicating information.
  • Coordinate and lead conference graphic support, including planning, development, and placement of printed materials, signage, exhibits, and other event visuals in collaboration with event planners and stakeholders.
  • Manage technical graphic design deliverables related to industrial design, architecture, drafting, and environmental branding, ensuring accuracy and quality control.
  • Lead budget development and cost management for graphic production and environmental branding initiatives; serve as the primary liaison with vendors, subcontractors, and consultants for graphic-related services. Provide expert review and quality assurance for all graphic outputs, maintaining compliance with Army and CPE IEW&S branding and technical standards.
  • Provide backup support to web design, development, and maintenance.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree - Graphics design, computer information systems, Commercial art, fine arts, art history, industrial design, architecture, drafting, interior design, photography, videography/video editing, visual communication, or other fields related to the position. A minimum of 10 (10) years’ experience in public affairs/public relations or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in the field of graphics, videography, and/or other design relevant experience is required.
  • Can be substituted with an Associate’s Degree and minimum of fifteen (15) years' experience in the field of graphics and design. Additional years’ experience can substitute for field of study.

Skills Required

  • Secret security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, computer information systems, commercial art, fine arts, art history, industrial design, architecture, drafting, interior design, photography, videography/video editing, visual communication, or related field
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in public affairs/public relations or a related field
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in graphics, videography, or other relevant design experience
  • Associate's degree plus minimum 15 years' graphics/design experience as an acceptable substitute for Bachelor's degree
  • Advanced expertise in graphic design software (Microsoft Office products and Adobe Creative Cloud or equivalent tools)
  • Experience producing high-end motion video, animation, and integrated print/multimedia projects
  • Experience developing storyboards, scripts, and creative planning documents for multimedia production
  • Experience managing vendors, subcontractors, budgets, and quality assurance for graphic production and environmental branding
  • Ability to design and produce executive-level communications and provide backup web design, development, and maintenance support
