Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Assist in creating graphics and visual elements for motion video, animations, digital media and print products, under the guidance of senior graphics staff.
- Support the development of graphics materials for events, conferences, and meetings, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Produce illustrations, drawings, and other artwork as directed to enhance communications materials.
- Assist in providing photographs, charts, diagrams, maps, slides, and other visual assets for informational and briefing purposes.
- Provide support in the preparation and presentation of awards, including tasks such as matting and framing.
- Able to prepare and use photographs, illustrations, drawings, other artwork, charts, diagrams, dioramas, maps, slides, overlays, and other kinds of visual material for use in communicating information through visual means.
- Provides input to report and graphic standards of the customer and provides intermediate technical support.
- Possesses knowledge of multiple PC and Macintosh application packages including word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, and drawing packages.
- Knowledge of photography techniques, including proficiency with photo editing software and camera equipment.
- Proficiency in industry standard design software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.
- Ability to work with vendors and consultants for quotes on services and subcontractors or service providers.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree - Graphics design, computer information systems, Commercial art, fine arts, art history, industrial design, architecture, drafting, interior design, photography, visual communication, or other fields related to the position.
- A minimum four years’ (4) experience in the field of graphics and design relevant experience is required.
- Can be substituted with an Associate's degree and a minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in the field of graphics and design. Additional years’ experience can substitute for field of study.
Skills Required
- Active Secret security clearance
- Associate's degree in Graphic Design, Commercial Art, Fine Arts, Photography, Visual Communication, or related field
- Minimum four years' experience in graphics and design (or Associate's degree plus seven years' experience)
- Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
