The role will lead Pluxee’s payment solutions and services across cards, mobile, wallets and merchant interfaces in Belgium and Luxembourg at strategic, tactical and operational level, ensuring alignment with Global Payment strategy. This requires coordination and execution with Product, Engineering, Operations and Finance teams, managing vendor relationships at local level and oversight of performance management of payments across Card, Operations, Transaction and related services. This includes being the local data owner for the payment domain. Core focus will be on: · Payment Business & Operating Model – Strategy, Roadmap & Run · Card & Production Operations · Payment Transactional Services (3C and 4C) · Partner Management (e.g. Processors, Acquirers) · Payment partnerships and service evolution This role will lead the definition and implementation of our end-to-end payment services operating model. It will drive the evolution of the payment organization and services to build a best-in-class, data driven service model for Pluxee Belgium and Luxembourg.
What you’ll be doing:
- The role is accountable for local strategy, roadmap, integration, operational flows and the successful delivery of payment capabilities adapted to market needs, while remaining compliant with Pluxee Global Standards.
- Lead the local roadmap and execution of payment product evolution in coordination with Global Payment.
- Lead a team of payment experts.
- Direct the operational services team lead by a Payment Operations lead.
- Oversee payment operations and SLA performance of card/payment services and solutions · Ensure local integration of global payment assets and coordinate with Product and Engineering teams.
- Act as the primary interface for local Payment vendors (Issuers, PSPs, processors), including onboarding performance.
- Monitoring KPIs and lead local incident resolution and continuous improvement for payments
- Coordinate transversal collaboration on Payment topics with marketing, sales, customer care, legal, finance and tech
- Structure and maintain deployment plans, rollout activities and change management communication
- Own country backlog of payment streams, assist with specifications (e.g. user stories), and support agile project delivery
- Contribute to reporting, governance and internal communication, including local management committees
🌟 You’re a match
- 10 years’ experience in payments, ideally with issuing or acquiring flows
- Expert knowledge of payment value chain in both a 3C and 4C model, ideally in card and account-to-account environments
- Expertise in online and virtual payment services, including experience with ApplePay & GooglePay execution and financials
- Data and metrics driven approaches, decision making and continual improvement
- Proven operational leadership of end-to-end payment services, including card services and operations
- Strong payment operations organization management experience, including managing payment processors, partners and day-to-day services
- Hand-on experience with payment operations and daily monitoring metrics and tools – taking action in relation to data, metrics and insights
- Experience in payment vendor management
- Solid project leadership experience in an agile environment · Strong and clear communication across business and tech stakeholders (written & verbal).
- Comfortable navigating across vendors, internal teams and external partners
- Know how to manage priorities and structure complex programs with cross-functional teams
- Fluent in English and local language; familiarity with Jira/Confluence is a plus.
- Bring a mindset of ownership, adaptability, continuous improvement and collaboration
