The Country Marketing Lead is part of the European Institutional Marketing organization and reports to the Cluster Marketing Leader.
The role is responsible for driving growth and profitability of the professional portfolios within the assigned country, by implementing the regionally defined marketing strategy (“where to play” and “how to win”) and translating it into impactful local execution.
This includes delivering key strategic priorities such as vitality index, margin improvement, and strategic growth drivers, while owning all marketing activities in the country across the full marketing mix and aligned with the European strategy.
Acting as a key business partner to the local sales organizations, the role ensures strong alignment between strategy and execution, driving commercial impact through excellent in-market delivery.
Role positioning:
The Country Marketing Lead owns end-to-end marketing execution and product portfolio performance within the country, translating strategy into commercial results, while the Channel Marketing Lead defines and drives channel strategy and activation across the cluster.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement the regionally agreed marketing strategy within the country, translating “where to play” and “how to win” into actionable local plans
- Deliver strategic priorities including vitality index, margin improvement, and growth drivers through effective marketing execution
- Own and drive integrated marketing activities across the customer journey, ensuring effective product portfolio management, campaign activation, and local events to drive engagement and conversion in the country
- Manage and optimise the professional product portfolios, including lifecycle management, range optimisation, and innovation rollout
- Ensure successful introduction and activation of new products and programs in the local market
- Localise (translate) product support and generic marketing materials (e.g. value propositions)
- Act as key business partner to local Sales organisations, aligning the cluster marketing strategy with commercial execution
- Drive execution excellence across all marketing initiatives, ensuring consistency, quality, and impact
- Monitor market performance and competitive dynamics to continuously optimise marketing actions
- Collaborate closely with cluster and regional teams to ensure alignment and leverage best practices
What We’re Looking For:
- Education – bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience in marketing, portfolio management, or related roles
- Strong experience in end-to-end marketing execution covering all key marketing channels and customer touchpoints (beyond product portfolio management)
- Understanding of product lifecycle management, activation, and go-to-market execution
- Experience working closely with Sales organisations and driving commercial impact
- Data-driven decision making (performance marketing mindset)
- Cross-functional influencing in matrix organisations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, AI & Copilot
- Proficient in English and Greek
