Job Overview

Macrobond is seeking an experienced Individual Contributor (IC) to join the Asia Sales team. In this key role, you will be responsible for driving new business and expanding relationships with existing clients.

You will position Macrobond’s comprehensive economic and financial data platform to meet the needs of investment professionals, government institutions, and corporate clients.

Macrobond has an established client base in Singapore, with significant untapped growth potential. Across ASEAN and Southeast Asia, where Macrobond is still relatively new, there is substantial opportunity to build market presence and accelerate growth.

Required Qualifications and experience

  • 12+ years of hands‑on strategic B2B sales experience within Data Licensing and Investment Workflow solutions
  • Deep understanding of selling data‑driven workflow solutions to economists, analysts, and strategists within banks and asset owners
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and growing market share.
  • An established network of relevant clients, enabling effective prospecting across the ASEAN region

Job Responsibilities

  • New Business Development - Proactively identify and acquire new clients by analysing market trends and uncovering key industry opportunities
  • Account Management - Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high satisfaction while identifying upsell and cross‑sell opportunities
  • Sales Strategy - Develop and execute a regional sales plan aligned with Macrobond’s global strategy. Leverage market intelligence to identify opportunities across specific sectors, regions, and themes aligned with Macrobond’s data offerings
  • Solution Selling - Understand client challenges and requirements to deliver tailored solutions using Macrobond’s data products, including API integrations and automated workflows. Deliver product demonstrations, proof‑of‑concepts, and provide support through deal closure.
