Key Responsibilites:
- Serve as a key member of the Country Leadership Team (LT), contributing to overall business strategy, decision-making, and performance delivery, with full accountability for the logistics function and its alignment to organizational goals.
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for all logistics operations, defining and executing a forward-looking logistics strategy that maximizes efficiency, reliability, scalability, and cost competitiveness while supporting business growth.
- Act as the senior interface between KONE and Logistics Service Providers (LSPs), driving strategic partnerships across materials planning, inventory management, warehousing, transportation, distribution, customs clearance, and regulatory compliance.
- Own and optimize the end-to-end logistics cost structure, including full budget accountability; drive financial transparency through advanced analytics, linking operational performance to financial outcomes and identifying opportunities for sustainable cost reduction.
- Lead the design and execution of continuous improvement and Variable Cost Productivity (VCP) initiatives, embedding a culture of operational excellence, Lean thinking, and innovation across the logistics network.
- Define, implement, and govern robust KPI and SLA frameworks across the logistics ecosystem; drive performance management and accountability for both internal teams and external partners to ensure best-in-class service delivery.
- Lead strategic sourcing and contract management (in collaboration with Purchasing), including negotiation, performance governance, and continuous evaluation of LSP partnerships to ensure long-term value creation and resilience.
- Champion data-driven decision-making by establishing advanced reporting, dashboards, and predictive analytics capabilities to enhance visibility, forecasting accuracy, and proactive issue resolution.
- Ensure best-in-class inventory management and integrity through strong governance, accurate cycle counting, and optimization of inventory levels aligned with working capital targets and service requirements.
