YOUR ROLE AS A: COUNTRY HEAD OF PEOPLE
The Country Head of People, you'll be responsible to proactively align People agenda with business strategies and catalyze the changes.
You'll play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing AirAsia's brand image, promoting our unique organizational culture, and upholding transparency and good governance. Your role will be critical in developing talent and enhancing our staff's capabilities through appropriate performance management, succession planning and development programs.
WHAT YOU’LL CHAMPION:
Strategic Alignment:
Analyze industry trends and business needs to lead HR strategies, monitor HR operational activities and policies to support company's objectives.
Provide HR advice to improve organizational structure in align with business model and future workforce
Enhance performance management system and employee engagement to boost productivity
Talent Development:
Build a strong leadership pipeline through comprehensive succession planning
Provide strategic recruitment, raise employer branding and diversity
Review and ensure the compensation and benefits are competitive and effectively implemented
Culture Promotion:
Strengthen AirAsia's brand image and foster customer advocacy.
Promote and nurture AirAsia's culture within the organization.
Governance and Compliance:
Ensure transparency and promote good governance practices within the company.
Collaborate with People Operations to develop and maintain a human resources policy and system that drive positive employee experiences
Work with COE to advise Management on the appropriate resolution of employee relations issue
WHO YOU ARE:
Bachelor’s Degree or Master Degree in Management, Human Resources or related fields
At least 10-15 years working experience in HR in a dynamic workplace with proven record of leadership
Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws
Partnering directly with the CEO, Board of Directors, and C-suite to align people strategies with revenue goals
Ability to translate business goals into workforce strategies, manage country HR budgets, and interface with C-suite executives
Using workforce data to drive retention, forecast hiring needs, and measure employee productivity.

Skills Required
