The Role
This is a high-impact leadership role for a finance professional who wants to operate at the center of manufacturing, supply chain, and strategic decision-making. As Country Controller, you will serve as the key finance partner to our Thailand operations, helping shape how Lumilens scales manufacturing capability, drives cost discipline, and builds a resilient global supply chain. You will translate complex operational realities into clear financial insight, influence major investment decisions, and help leadership navigate growth with rigor and speed. For the right candidate, this is an opportunity to go well beyond traditional country finance, to play a visible role in building the financial and operational foundation of a next-generation deep-tech company.
Key Responsibilities
Own monthly close, balance sheet reconciliations, and management reporting for Thailand
Manage statutory reporting under TFRS, corporate tax, VAT, and Revenue Department filings
Liaise with external auditors and ensure clean audit outcomes
Execute and continuously improve SOX controls at the Thailand entity
Partner with local operations on cost controls, expense management, and working capital
Manage payroll compliance, withholding tax, and local regulatory filings
Coordinate with Group Tax on transfer pricing and intercompany matters
Drive process standardization and automation across the local finance team
Required Qualifications
CPA (Thailand CPA, US CPA, ACCA, or equivalent)
7-10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience
SOX experience — hands-on execution and documentation
Strong Thai accounting standards, tax, and regulatory knowledge
English language proficiency — written and verbal
Preferred Qualifications
Technology / hardware / semiconductor / FMCG industry experience
Manufacturing cost accounting exposure
Track record of building and developing finance teams and processes from scratch.
US MNC experience — controller or senior finance leader inside a US-headquartered multinational
