The Oncology Country Brand Manager (CBM) for Lung and Breast Cancer is responsible for leading the strategic development and execution of the oncology portfolio across the SOLA Cluster. This role will drive brand performance, patient access expansion, launch readiness, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring sustainable growth and meaningful impact for patients.
The CBM will work in close partnership with Medical, Access, Commercial Excellence, Regulatory, Digital and Regional Teams to develop and implement integrated strategies that accelerate adoption of innovative oncology therapies and strengthen Pfizer's leadership position across lung and breast cancer.
The role requires a strong strategic mindset, business acumen, customer focus, positive attitude, and the ability to influence across a complex matrix environment while fostering an optimistic, collaborative and solution-oriented team environment.
CBM must act as a positive culture ambassador, fostering collaboration, trust, accountability and a solution-oriented mindset across the cross-functional team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Leadership
• Lead the development, execution and monitoring of integrated brand plans for the Lung and Breast Oncology portfolio across the SOLA Cluster.
• Identify growth opportunities and develop strategies to maximize patient impact and business performance.
• Translate regional and global strategies into locally relevant cluster initiatives.
• Drive annual business planning, forecasting, financial management and portfolio prioritization.
• Transform field insights into actionable brand initiatives and engagement plans for priority customer segments.
Portfolio Growth & Market Development
• Accelerate adoption and market penetration of priority oncology brands.
• Develop strategies to position Pfizer therapies as standards of care within relevant treatment pathways.
• Identify opportunities to expand access through public and private healthcare systems.
• Monitor the competitive landscape, treatment trends, market dynamics and customer insights.
Cross-Functional Leadership
• Lead cross-functional teams to implement brand strategies and achieve business objectives.
• Build strong partnerships with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Regulatory, Commercial Operations, Analytics and Customer Facing Colleagues.
• Ensure alignment of all customer engagement initiatives across channels and stakeholders.
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
• Develop a deep understanding of oncologists, KOLs, scientific societies, policymakers and healthcare systems.
• Support initiatives that enhance scientific leadership and stakeholder partnerships.
• Collaborate with Medical and Access teams to address unmet needs and access barriers.
• Collaborate with RTALs, regional/global brand teams and peer markets to pull through the glocal operating model, scale best practices and ensure local relevance of regional priorities.
• Monitor patient support initiatives and/or PSP performance through relevant KPIs, including enrollment, persistence/adherence, time-to-therapy, patient experience and budget, partnering with internal teams and vendors to drive corrective actions.
Launch Excellence
• Lead launch preparation and execution activities for pipeline and lifecycle opportunities.
• Develop launch readiness plans including customer, market access, operational and omnichannel components.
• Ensure successful execution of launch milestones and performance tracking.
Omnichannel & Customer Experience
• Drive customer-centric engagement strategies across digital and non-digital channels.
• Leverage customer insights, analytics and market research to optimize resource allocation and engagement effectiveness.
• Ensure excellence in omnichannel campaign planning and execution.
Financial & Business Management
• Manage brand budgets and marketing investments effectively.
• Monitor business performance, market share, patient metrics and key financial indicators.
• Develop mitigation plans and growth acceleration initiatives when required.
• Own/contribute to forecast development and performance tracking, ensuring alignment with Demand Planning and S&OP processes.
• Monitor demand trends, supply risks and inventory assumptions to support adequate portfolio availability.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Previous experience in Marketing, Brand Management or Commercial Strategy.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a matrix organization.
• Oncology experience strongly preferred.
• Launch experience in innovative therapies.
• MBA or postgraduate studies preferred.
