- Ensures compliance with gaming regulations related to the count room.
- Assist staff count room attendants in completing daily tasks and with discrepancies related to reconciling monetary assets.
- Ensures delays do not occur in the currency wrapping process by performing minor mechanical adjustments to the currency counting machines.
- Ensures compliance with all other regulatory controls both internal and external
- Trains and supervises team members in accordance with organizational and approved departmental standards, policies, and procedures.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One or more years count room or money handling experience preferred.
- Knowledge of accounting software.
- Operate a ten-key adding machine.
- Must possess basic math skills and ability to count large sums of currency.
- Experience supervising employees engaged in handling large cash transactions required.
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule including all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.
Physical and Mental Demands:
- Regularly required to see; use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
- Frequently required to reach with hands and arms; stoop, and talk or hear.
- Must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds or push up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a confined space without the ability to enter or exit freely.
- Able to work with others while maintaining a positive and courteous demeanor under working conditions that require supervised confinement in a secured work space.
