Provides counselling services for TELUS Health's Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Counsellor IIHybrid EAP & WSP ProgramPermanent Full-time In-Person St. Albert, ABWorkplace Support Programs (WSP) :A group of programs designed to address mental health concerns in the workplace. TELUS Health's Workplace Support Program offers the industry's earliest intervention into employee mental health issues that require a solution beyond short-term EAP support or as part of a disability case management treatment plan. The programs provide professional assessment and counselling to support an individual's return to healthy productivity. These clinical interventions address issues requiring longer-term, more specialized or more intensive levels of care in order to prevent or manage workplace performance problems, absence and disability.What You BringRequired:
  • Master’s Degree in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work or related field
  • Minimum five (5) years of post-masters clinical experience
  • Professional Registration - ACSW, CAP, CCC
  • Knowledge of clinical assessment tools with experience conducting substance abuse assessments & mental health assessments
  • Ability to assess all types of psycho-social disorders and develop treatment plans
  • Strong report writing skills
  • Experience supporting mandated clients
  • Experience working in an inpatient/outpatient substance abuse treatment facility considered an asset
  • Basic knowledge of community resources around St. Albert and case management skills
