On behalf of our client, a leading company in the Industrial Manufacturing sector, we are looking to recruit a Costing Specialist.
Responsibilities
- Reviews manufacturing orders as part of the month-end closing process and contacts appropriate sources to ensure accuracy
- Monitors all inventory movements and ensures that correct adjustments are made to maximize efficiency
- Supports month-end and year-end closing activities and inventory counts
- Ensures the integrity of cost information and contributes to the development of new systems and procedures
- Contributes to the correct valuation of the balance sheet and assists in the product preliminary costing process
- Participates in ad hoc projects, requests and reports
- Works in accordance with the requirements of the company’s Quality System, which includes written Policies, Standard Operating Procedures, Technical Directives and Protocols
Requirements
- BSc degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field
- 4-7 years of experience in industrial cost accounting or a relevant field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Greek and English)
- Proficiency in SAP (MM/PP/FI/CO)
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications
- Experience in production and inventory costing
- Ability to work collaboratively and with attention to detail
Skills Required
