Cost Controller
Role Overview:
We are looking for a Cost Controller to join our Polyurethanes EAIME business, supporting operations in the UK and NL. This position provides financial analysis, budget forecasting, and cost control for UK and NL operations. It acts as a Finance Business Partner to local management, ensures compliance, and drives performance improvements. The position involves regular presence at the Wilton site (about 2-3 days a month) and close collaboration with stakeholders across plants and shared service centers. The selected candidate will be based in the GBS Hub in Krakow.

Role Responsibilities:
As a Cost Controller, you will be responsible for:
Serving as the primary finance contact at the Wilton site (approx. 60% of time).
Supporting fixed cost controlling activities for the NL site (approx. 40% of time).
Managing and reporting on fixed costs, Capex projects, fixed assets, and maintenance costs.
Preparing annual budgets and monthly forecasts in collaboration with cost center owners.
Performing systematic and ad-hoc analysis of costs, including time writing reports, purchase-to-pay process, and plant-related expenses.
Performing month-end closing activities and cost reporting.
Developing and improving performance and cost reporting tools.
Acting as a Finance Business Partner to UK and NL management teams, proactively communicating issues and proposing solutions.
Ensuring compliance with SOX controls and internal policies.
Providing backup support for the European Operations Controller during holidays or peak periods.
Maintaining a regular physical presence at Wilton (about 2-3 days a month).
Experience and Competencies:
We are looking for experienced candidates with strong financial and analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
What we are looking for:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
5–7 years of relevant experience, preferably in finance operations/controlling in a manufacturing setting.
Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in SAP.
Fluent English, both written and spoken.
Ability to challenge decisions from a business value perspective.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across departments.
Willingness to travel regularly to the Wilton site.
