Cost Analyst

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Cost Analyst within our ALE division. This position falls under our Lodging line of business. In this role, you will be accountable for the ongoing analysis of projects, margin analysis, and tracing costs back to underlying activities. The Cost Analyst must also monitor the cost-effective data accumulation systems needed to provide an appropriate level of costing information to management. You will report directly to the Director of Billing and regularly collaborate with other teams and departments.

As a Cost Analyst, you will work in a virtual environment. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:

The responsibilities of the role will include:

• Reviewing and monitoring the controls needed for sales analysis and project closing
• Running the Project Closing Program to compare actual costs and revenue for analysis of profit and loss on projects
• Researching and resolving misapplied costs
• Reallocating unbillable costs
• Working with hotel billers, folios, and managers when project margins are inaccurate due to recording and processing information inaccurately
• Providing reports to management on analysis of project profitability or loss
• Reporting on variances and their causes
• Other duties as assigned

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferred, or equivalent experience
• Two years of accounting experience preferred

• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent analytical skills
• Strong Microsoft Office product skills
• Ability to provide accurate and timely reports as requested
• ACT database experience a plus
• High level of professionalism
• Must be available to work some holidays and weekends
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Microsoft Great Plains & ACT database experience preferred
