This opportunity entails being typically responsible for several cost functions related to project budgeting for clients (e.g., budget/cost management, change management, forecasting, contingency management). May manage budget/cost function for a small project or portion of a project. Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining client budgets and forecasts, recording project costs, reviewing invoices, and monitoring cost history.
This position will be located at JFK Airport in NYC (Queens)

What You’ll Do:

• Reviews, analyzes, and processes invoices and payment applications.
• Operates budget/cost system, including documenting and tracking changes to budget, commitments, and expenditures. May manage budget/cost function for a small project or portion of a project under general supervision.
• Supports change order process, including recording estimate-at-completion (EAC) impacts of potential or requested change orders. Tracks project EAC by recording all potential changes to cost accounts, including change orders, trends, and deviations.
• Generates standard and ad hoc reports including budget reports, forecast-at-completion estimates, and other reports under guidance
• Establishes and / or tracks contingency allocation.
• Forecasts costs and records updated forecasts as provided by project team. Supports Senior Cost Analyst in performing cost risk assessments.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need:

• Associate's degree in Construction Management or Accounting and 3 years relevant experience, or
• In lieu of education, 5 years of relevant experience

What We Prefer:

• AACE Certified Cost Professional (CCP), Certified Cost Technician (CCT) or equivalent
• Experience in cost estimating, preferably on heavy civil construction projects

The approximate pay range for New York is $72,602.78 - $136,130.21. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
