General Summary:
The Cost Accounting Senior Manager focuses on accounting, analysis and reporting for inventory movements, reserves, and cost of goods. This is a broad role with duties that relate to cost and inventory accounting valuation analysis and internal controls. The Senior Manager will work closely with various teams across the global organization, including Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Commercial, GIS, and R&D Project Teams.

The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- Typically 6 years of experience in corporate finance/accounting or public accounting (or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles as applied to pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with Oracle EBS or similar ERP systems
- Experience with inventory accounting, excess and obsolescence reserves, and cost of goods
- Experience with month-end close, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Knowledge and experience ensuring SOX compliance and maintaining internal controls
- Experience coordinating internal and external audits and quarterly/annual reviews
- Ability to identify process inefficiencies and lead automation or repeatable process improvements
- Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to engage cross-functional partners
- Experience conducting physical inventory counts as needed
- CPA or related certification and/or advanced degree
