As a Cost Accounting Manager here at Honeywell, you will lead and manage the cost accounting function within the Process Technologies business. You will be responsible for overseeing cost accounting processes, analyzing cost data, and providing financial insights to support business decisions. Your expertise will help optimize cost control, improve financial accuracy, and drive operational efficiency.
You will report directly to our finance leadership and you’ll work out of our Arvada, CO location on an on-site work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the financial performance and cost management of the Process Technologies division, contributing to strategic decision-making and operational excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage the cost accounting team to ensure accurate and timely cost reporting and analysis.
- Develop and implement cost accounting policies, procedures, and controls aligned with business objectives.
- Analyze cost variances and trends to provide actionable insights and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, operations, and supply chain to optimize cost management and improve financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls related to cost accounting.

YOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in cost accounting or related financial roles, with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, cost control methodologies, and financial analysis techniques.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems relevant to cost accounting functions.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in a manufacturing or process technology environment.
- Ability to analyze complex cost data and provide strategic financial insights to support business decisions.
The annual base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 USD. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as relevant experience, education, skills, certifications, geographic location, and business needs. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for annual incentive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, subject to applicable plan terms and company policies.
