Job Description
Join Teledyne and make an impact in financial operations! We’re looking for a Cost Accountant to support manufacturing cost analysis and ensure accurate reporting. If you have strong analytical skills and thrive in a collaborative environment, this role is for you.
What you’ll do- Develop, implement, and maintain cost accounting systems.
- Prepare journal entries, reconcile ledger accounts, and maintain accurate records.
- Monitor and close production jobs, verifying parts and labor reporting.
- Analyze manufacturing costs and variances; prepare reports for management.
- Collaborate with operations to improve profitability and cost control.
- Assist with month-end and year-end accounting activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
- 2–4 years of accounting or finance experience (required)
- Strong analytical, judgment, and organizational skills (required)
- Excellent computer skills and ability to multi-task (required)
- Must be a U.S. Person (includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees) (required)
- Experience with Epicor ERP or similar systems (advantage)
- Background in a production-driven environment (advantage)
