Ensure internal control and alignment with corporate policies within the plant to meet financial and operational metrics. Implement process improvement tools and provide support with reliable, accurate, and timely information for decision-making and result enhancement.
Objective:
Ensure financial control and alignment to corporate policies within the plant. Implement process improvement and support tools with accurate and timely information for decision making and improvement of results
Main Activities
- Monthly closing of operational - financial metrics (net abs, efficiency, days of inventory, earned hours)
- Analyze and approve the adjustments of materials in inventory proposed by production control.
- Preparation and presentation of weekly results report to plant management and operations management.
- Financial Forecast Package based on Plant Management updates explaining variances.
- Calculation and recording in Oracle of accruals, if necessary.
- Daily monitoring and control of manufacturing expenses.
- Preparation and calculation of statement of cost of production and sales for sending to external auditors, and basis for annual tax return.
- Attention to internal and external audits
- Analysis, calculation and start of approval flow to account for the Excess and Obsolete inventory reserve
- Calculation and preparation of Annual Budget according to Donaldson's premises and current economic environment.
- Updating Labor and Overhead rates in Oracle for costing and inventory valuation.
- Standard cost update based on raw material prices and rates.
- Approval of cost reductions calculations.
- Review of financial information in investment projects.
- Supervise the performance of the cycle count program.
- Inventory conciliations and Analysis.
Requirements:
- Related degree in economic/administrative sciences
- 5 years of experience in similar positions in manufacturing/automotive industry.
- Advanced English
