Cost Accountant

Job Description

• Financial planning and reporting - compile and analyze monthly forecast and actual result. Also participate in preparing annual operating plan.
• Product costing - prepare standard cost and analyze absorption variance.
• Cost saving - drive for cost control and potential cost reduction.
• Cycle count - assist in cycle counting monitoring process
• Liaise with internal and external auditors on matters related to cost accounting processes and consistent with internal controls and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting with minimum 2 years of related experience in manufacturing operation and/or product line financial support
• Possess a strong level of analytical skill, numeracy and strong in financial and accounting understanding
• Knowledge in Excel Intermediate Level is required. SAP and Microsoft Access would be an added advantage.
• Semiconductor cost accounting experience and supply chain knowledge is preferred
• A good collaborator and able to work with other team members, as well as cross-functionally
