The Cost Accountant is responsible for inventory accounting functions and in supervising and coordinating the Quantity Accuracy Program (QAP)
What You Will Do
Performs quarterly R&D lot reviews
Performs quarterly random verification of on-hold lots or inventories for proper disposition
Responsible for the monthly Wafer Bank Foundry lots review
Conducts verification of monthly foundry credit status with engineering team
Performs monthly freight accrual
Reviews and approves Materials Inventory Scrap Review request in E-Forms
Monitors lot(s) with negative quantity(ies) and coordinates with Logistics team the required Oracle transaction
Prepares monthly BU Reclass for Inventory-related accounts
Prepares monthly tape & reel analysis
Prepares monthly RM consumption analysis
Supports and/or leads improvements related to cost accounting and inventory management
Supports and/or leads adhoc projects, and other duties as assigned
What You Will Bring
Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
CPA license an advantage but not necessary
At least 1 year relevant work experience in Inventory
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good interpersonal skills and ability to relate with people in various levels of organization
Strong planning, organizational and analytical skills
Accuracy and attention to details
Takes initiative to make improvements
Cooperate and collaborate with colleagues
Good sense of professionalism and confidentiality
Working knowledge of the entire finance functions
