Skills Required
- Cost accounting experience including standard vs actual cost analysis and per-unit costing
- Experience preparing landed cost sheets for foreign purchase orders
- Monthly close experience for cost accounting, including cost statements and journal entries
- Inventory monitoring, reconciliation with general ledger, and inventory review leadership
- Experience analyzing production costs, product design changes, and recommending cost efficiencies
- Proficiency with ERP and related accounting systems
- Ability to prepare financial and operational reports and analyze KPIs for leadership
- Strong data analysis skills and ability to collect disparate data and prepare decision-support reports
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Project management skills: initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and close projects with metrics
