We are seeking a detail-oriented Cortex Software Tester with experience in the banking domain to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing and validating Cortex-based banking applications to ensure functionality, accuracy, and reliability before deployment.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for Cortex applications.
- Review business and technical requirements to create detailed test plans and strategies.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Identify, log, and track defects using standard bug-tracking tools.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to resolve issues.
- Validate new features, configurations, and enhancements in the banking systems.
- Ensure test coverage aligns with quality standards and project goals.
- Prepare and present test reports and quality metrics to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in software testing, preferably in the banking or financial sector.
- Hands-on experience with Cortex platform (Digital Banking Solutions).
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect management processes.
- Experience with JIRA, Postman, or other testing and bug-tracking tools.
- Good knowledge of API testing, SQL queries, and data validation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and documentation abilities.
- Experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, or similar).
- Knowledge of banking workflows such as payments, loans, or account management.
- ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
