Job Description:

We are actively seeking a talented Senior Application Developer for the Quadient Inspire platform to join our Correspondence technology team in the Consumer Markets Division.  This role can be on-site in Newport Beach, Omaha NE, hybrid or 100% remote.

How you will make an impact:

  • Provides consultative expertise to formulate and define system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to design, develop, and modify complex computer programs that automate specific business process. 
  • May be responsible for supporting and maintaining a critical system. 
  • Consults with clients to analyze and understand functions to be automated, client needs, objectives, desired features, and input and output requirements. 
  • Frequently interacts with clients to trouble-shoot and clarify requirements. 
  • Provides technical leadership and expertise in analysis, design, development and documentation of software applications.
  • Participates in strategic planning and advises on technology and development processes. 
  • May function as a lead on major development projects that have significant division-wide impact. 
  • May participate in training and/or oversight of more junior applications developers.
  • Gather needs from customers and stakeholders and implement them into the project scope.  Articulate and translate the product vision into features and tactics.
  • Manage the project deliverables and schedule.

The experience you will bring:

Business / Domain Expertise

  • Experience with any correspondence systems, such as OpenText Exstream, Documaker and Seagull.
  • Knowledge of Annuity products, Life Insurance products, and financial services.

Individual Skills

  • Technical aptitude; experience working with technical/service delivery teams within an agile framework
  • Ability to prioritize, negotiate and work with a variety of external and internal stakeholders; ability to interface with all levels of management
  • Displays strong communication skills with ability to communicate complex messages and trade-offs and tell a compelling story
  • Able to make hard and fast decisions on a daily basis
  • Able to influence a diverse group of stakeholders
  • Is a strong problem solver with ability to lead the team to push the solution and progress

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.

$152,370.00 - $186,230.00
