Job Description

RaySecur is seeking an Enterprise Sales Executive with a background in corrections sales to join a growing team delivering cutting-edge screening technology and services to detect contraband and threats in the mail. As an Enterprise Sales Executive at RaySecur you will be responsible for taking ownership, growing, and closing enterprise sales to corrections customers. We are looking for an experienced enterprise sales executive to help scale this program 10-100X and significantly grow and nurture leads. You are confident in your ability to deliver results but have the humility to learn from those around you and are willing to dive in and make things happen.

You are an achiever with a track record of consistently exceeding expectations in sales to federal, state, or county corrections and law enforcement customers. You have a track record employing a consultative sales approach, working closely with technical and security subject matter experts. You are a true entrepreneur, always innovating, and never settling for good enough.

Responsibilities

  • Independently build a book of business to exceed sales goals
  • Apply a consultative sales approach to address customer needs and close corrections sales
  • Develop and execute sales plans to meet goals

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with minimum 5 years’ experience in technical sales to corrections customers
  • Knowledge of the POC/Pilot process to meet customer requirements
  • Exposure to a start-up environment or background in law enforcement, military, or corrections a plus
  • Demonstrated track record selling mailroom, or x-ray, or security screening equipment an asset
  • Experience navigating government procurement and purchasing, including sole source, RFI and RFP responses
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
