Summary/Overview:
Kroll Bond Rating Agency, LLC (KBRA, LLC) is seeking an Analyst / Senior Analyst to join its growing Corporate Ratings team. This role will be focused on credit ratings and research across across various sectors, including aviation, shipping, rail and REITs ( Real Estate Investment Trusts ). The position will be based out of KBRA’s New York office.
About the Job:
- Analyze financial statements of companies
- Prepare committee memos, research reports, and supporting analytical materials and assist senior analysts in rating process and research efforts
- Present rating recommendations in rating committees and participate in external management meetings and investor calls
- Monitor portfolio of companies for significant developments
- Assist in ensuring key procedures and processes are adhered to
You will be successful in this role if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced graduate degree and/or CFA designation a plus
- 0-2 years of work experience in a financial analysis role within financial services or rating agency
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and Excel skills
- Attention to details
- Ability to work as part of a collaborative team in a challenging and dynamic environment
- Strong interest and/or relevant experience in ratings and/or financial sector transactions
- CFA and knowledge of Bloomberg considered positively
- Familiarity with Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT for research, data insights, and general productivity is a plus
Salary Range:
The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time position is $75,000 to $95,000. Offer amounts are determined by factors such as experience, skills, geography, and other job-related factors.
