We're seeking someone to join our Recovery and Resolution Planning (RRP) team as a Vice President in Treasury to support the development, implementation, and process improvements of the Global Recovery and Resolution Financial Models.
In the Finance division, we act as a partner to business units around the globe by providing management, review, analysis and advisory services of the Firm's financial and capital resources. This is a Vice President position within our Corporate Treasury & Capital Planning Job Family which is responsible for planning, managing, forecasting and optimizing capital, liquidity and funding resources; governance oversight of Treasury and Capital Planning; setting frameworks, policies and guidelines for appropriate management of these resources; managing regulatory deliverables and exams; managing CCAR/Capital Stress Testing process.

What you'll do in the role:
- Collaborate with a varied group of colleagues in Finance and across the Firm
- Responsible for and lead a significant set of deliverables, leveraging advanced understanding of Finance functional area, product and/or client segment
- Proactively identify emerging risks in individual and department work and contribute to strategies for mitigating them
- Act as a role model and culture carrier; Embody and set an example of the Firm's values and hold yourself and others accountable to Firm standards
- Identify and drive additional use cases of the models in a business-as-usual environment
- Act as a subject matter expert to evaluate any impacts that changes to the Firm's activities (e.g., new products) may have on its resiliency and resolvability and recommend mitigating actions
- Serve as the interface between topical subject matter experts and internal governance bodies and external regulators
- Present to various Firm governance committees and drive discussions with second and third lines of defense
- Manage and execute ad hoc requests/inquiries from senior management and aid in decision making process
- Research, analyze and recommend solutions around data issues and perform necessary steps to resolve
- Support global regulatory submissions and ad hoc governance or regulatory requests
- Collaborate across multiple teams to implement strategic change initiatives and remediation efforts in response to regulatory feedback
What you'll bring to the role:
- - Advanced understanding of Treasury, product and/or client segment and technical skills, as well as of industry and competitive environment

- Ability to articulate risk and impact to various audiences, and create plans to mitigate those risks
- Excellent quantitative and qualitative analysis skills, including ability to summarize complex business problems and detailed analysis with clarity and brevity
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products is required, with particular focus on Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with complex financial products including derivatives, secured funding, deposits and lending
- Experience with the implementation of complex financial models and data management in a strategic IT environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Adept at working in a fast-paced, high-energy level environment
- Aptitude for detail and a strong commitment to accuracy
- A proactive nature with the determination to see tasks through from beginning to end
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field of study beneficial
- Prior experience in Recovery and Resolution planning a plus (directly or via consulting/regulatory roles)
- Prior experience with PowerBI and/or Tableau a plus
- At least 8 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $110,000 and $190,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
