The Opportunity (Remote - US/Canada):
We are seeking a detail-oriented Corporate Tax Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, you'll develop and implement our corporate tax processes. You'll make an immediate impact by managing complex tax areas and supporting major projects that drive Wrapbook's growth. The ideal candidate maintains exceptional accuracy, meets tight deadlines, and collaborates effectively across teams in our dynamic environment.
What You'll do:

Strong tax technical knowledge for concepts such as income, sales / use and excise taxes

Oversee and ensure accurate, timely filing of US federal, Canadian and state income tax payments and returns in compliance with tax laws, while maintaining proper documentation of all researched issues

Manage federal, state, and local tax compliance and reporting requirements

Develop and implement tax planning strategies to maximize efficiency and minimize tax liability

Evaluate and propose improvements to intercompany transactions and transfer pricing strategies

Provide guidance on corporate entity structure and assist in registering new entities and licenses

Complete tax-related journal entries and implement accounting guidance, including ASC 740
-
Monitor tax law changes and assess their impact on the organization

Research tax
What you'll have:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
-
Big 4 public accounting experience
-
CPA certification required
-
7+ years of corporate tax experience
-
Strong knowledge of US GAAP
-
Strong understanding of US tax laws, IRS regulations, and state and local tax requirements
-
Strong understanding of Canadian tax laws and regulations
-
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with precision and deliver results, paired with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
