What Will You Contribute?
The Corporate Strategy Specialist will play a critical role in advancing Finastra’s strategic agenda by supporting the planning, execution, and management of high-impact initiatives across the organization. Reporting to & working closely with the Chief Operating Officer and senior leaders, this role provides analytical rigor, market insight, and program leadership to drive key strategic priorities forward.
This position requires regular engagement with senior management, cross-functional teams, the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), and external advisors. Strategic initiatives will span multiple business units and central functions, with primary focus on the COO organization, including: Sales Operations, Analytics, Customer Insights, Strategic Initiative Program, Cross-Sell & Partnerships, License Compliance, and Divestitures.
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter with strong analytical capabilities, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, agile, and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities & Deliverables:
Strategic Planning & AnalysisSupport the development and execution of the COO team’s strategic priorities and long-term vision.
Conduct analytical and research work to inform key initiatives, including:
Industry trend and market analysis
Best practice benchmarking
Financial modelling and business case development
Ad-hoc analysis as needed
Synthesize findings and communicate insights, recommendations, and program updates to senior stakeholders.
Partner with business units and central functions to design, shape, and execute strategic projects.
Gather data, solicit perspectives, and build consensus across stakeholder groups.
Prepare clear, concise presentations and recommendations for senior leadership, including the ELT and Board-level discussions.
Provide program management support for priority initiatives across the COO portfolio.
Create and manage project timelines across multiple concurrent initiatives.
Identify, track, and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies.
Deliver project status updates and strategic insights to relevant senior stakeholders.
Provide targeted delivery support for specific initiative components on an ad-hoc basis.
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Finastra’s product portfolio, commercial models, and services.
Monitor the FinTech ecosystem, competitive landscape, emerging technologies, and markets relevant to Finastra’s growth strategy.
Provide bespoke analytical and strategic support for Executive-level projects, including ELT, Board, and external stakeholder engagements.
Required Skills & Experience:
Experience in a top-tier management consulting firm.
Background in software and/or financial services strongly preferred.
Strong strategic thinking skills and the ability to work with complex data and information.
Excellent analytical, financial modelling, and problem‑solving capabilities.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with ability to present complex concepts clearly and concisely.
Proven ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
