Job Description:
The Corporate Strategy Associate will coordinate and execute successful marketing initiatives through innovative and thoughtful leadership, cross-departmental collaboration and strategic thinking based on the needs of the target audience. This position requires the ability to be tactful, dynamic, driven, precise and receptive. The Corporate Strategy Associate role translates the overarching Corporate Strategy into clear, consistent strategic messaging across internal sales, external consultants/analysts, and marketing audiences. Partnering closely with marketing, the position ensures all messaging and value propositions align with and support CSI’s Corporate Strategy goals. As an integral part of the CSO team the initial priority is to lead and drive Commercial Banking strategic messaging, enabling effective execution post‑CX26. Subsequent focus areas include Commercial Lending, Digital and broader theme‑based messaging such as Embedded Banking and AI to strengthen CSI’s market awareness and credibility within the U.S. community banking segment exceeding $1B in assets.
CSI Sales Focus:
Develop a deep understanding of CSI’s organization, processes, products, and customer needs to shape effective Commercial Banking value propositions.
Lead the creation of value propositions, ROI models (in partnership with the CSO team), and strategic sales scripts aligned to key corporate strategic themes.
Execute marketing and sales‑enablement programs that support CSI Sales, applying best practices, solving complex messaging challenges, and continuously measuring and improving performance.
Collaborate closely with EBS and DES product marketing teams to ensure consistency across all deliverables.
Bank Sales Focus:
Equip bank‑facing sales and product teams with the tools, messaging, and resources required to effectively articulate the CSI‑enabled Commercial Banking value proposition.
This includes developing sales tools, messaging frameworks, and ROI‑based materials in collaboration with EBS, DES, and CSI Marketing.
Identify new opportunities to strengthen bank‑facing messaging, lead cross‑departmental project teams to deliver high‑quality assets, and independently execute targeted marketing programs across segments and channels to drive adoption and impact.
Consultant & Analyst Focus:
Support the SVP of Strategic Insights and Industry Relations by ensuring CSI’s value propositions, ROI models, and strategic theme‑based messaging are accurately and consistently reflected in analyst briefings, industry conversations, and RFI/RFP responses.
Apply industry knowledge to improve processes, enhance briefing materials, and identify opportunities to elevate CSI’s presence within the consultant and analyst ecosystem.
Demonstrate strong communication skills to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
Marketing Focus:
Partner closely with CSI Marketing to shape and refine value propositions and strategic theme‑based messaging for internal and external audiences.
Collaborate on the development and review of press content, social media messaging, and broader marketing campaigns to ensure alignment with CSI’s corporate strategy and sales priorities.
Independently develop and execute marketing programs, negotiate with vendors as needed, lead cross‑functional project teams, and continuously measure and optimize performance to ensure effectiveness.
Contribute to process improvements and maintain agility in adapting tactics to market shifts and organizational needs.
General Responsibilities:
Use internal and external insights to support improvements in messaging, processes, and marketing execution.
Maintain flexibility to take on additional tasks as assigned, ensuring alignment with evolving strategic priorities.
Education or job knowledge equivalent to college or university undergraduate education. The typical amount of relevant work experience required to successfully perform the job is at least five (5) years.
