About the position
We have an excellent opportunity available for an experienced buyer to make a difference at Kraft Heinz. The procurement IT & Corporate Services buyer position lies within the European business unit. You'll be working in a high performing team, alongside peers always trying to reach the next level. You'll be reporting into Carolina Miana - Procurement Corporate Services lead. Get ready for a lot of exposure to internal senior stakeholders. The delivery of sourcing strategies, fierce negotiation and contract management for different areas within the business units will be your primary responsibility. Procurement IT & Corporate Services within Kraft Heinz includes IT services, Software, Hardware, Finance Services such as Corporate Cards and Professional Services. You're constantly looking for improvement activities within the procurement spectrum.
In brief, you are responsible for:
  • Engage and manage mid to executive-level internal clients as well as develop supplier relationships on an ongoing basis.
  • Develop data based analysis on category spend.
  • Operate in Procurement systems such as Ariba and SAP
  • Align with Global Category Strategy for a wide portfolio of business needs across Kraft Heinz Europe.
  • Lead and execute various sourcing projects for supplier selection/optimization to implement Category Management vision and strategies.
  • Support Global Procurement Team on conducting Supplier Business Reviews
  • Support in the development of the supplier base for specific categories
  • Lead discussions with identified suppliers around long-term objectives and strategies, ongoing market trends, innovation and technology advances, and potential investment decisions
  • Support major supplier issues and work with major partners to identify and drive resolution.
  • Identify business needs at the sourcing level in the following areas: Assurance of Supply, Quality, Service, Cost, and Innovation
  • Support the development and growth of multi-year category vision and strategy based on data, insights, and business requirements.
  • Support Global Procurement team on building strong business relationships to increase influence over total category spend.
  • Completes complex contracts in accordance with policies and processes;
  • Actively maintain strong understanding of category dynamics (current market, pricing, cost drivers, industry, and supplier variables) through trade groups, publications, etc.
  • Support Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) at the category level through collaboration with data analytics, accountable for measuring and reporting value delivery.
  • Be an enabler for continuous process improvement and cost reduction.

Qualifications
Please kindly note that you need to have an EU Working Permit (Orientation Year Visa not included) in order to proceed for this position.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, finance, IT or related field. Candidates with equivalent related experience will be considered instead of a degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in indirect procurement, purchasing, strategic sourcing, or a related field. Finance, IT and Consulting management experience is highly beneficial.
  • Strong written, verbal, and analytical skills, as well as interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Ability to understand, organize, and communicate complex information in an easily understandable format tailored to a variety of audiences.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and have an understanding for source-to-pay tools (SAP, Ariba, etc.). Strong Excel / Power BI analytics is highly beneficial.
