Organized, detail-driven, and ready to keep construction projects on track? Prime Group is looking for a Corporate Scheduler to build and maintain schedules across our construction projects.
Job Summary
The Corporate Scheduler is responsible for creating and maintaining project schedules while ensuring the timely and efficient completion of construction projects. They will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and other team members to develop realistic timelines and monitor progress throughout the construction process.
What You'll Do
Including but not limited to:
- Prepare and distribute the schedule, including any required updates, for each assigned project
- Monitor the progress of work and update project schedules every two weeks
- Contribute to the development of working schedules for Project Estimating during Pre-Construction
- Maintain the master schedule for each project and identify and record the impact of work performed and not performed as scheduled
- Expand and update professional knowledge and complete training in company software applications
- Prepare initial baseline schedules for each project
- Manage multiple projects at once
- Provide two-week look-ahead schedules for each project, working with superintendents to produce them
- Interact with Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers, Superintendents, and all corporate and field staff
- Upload schedules to the appropriate files in our Project Management Application (Autodesk Build)
What You Bring
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Degree in Construction Management preferred
- A thorough understanding of construction execution strategy is a must
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Primavera (P3 and P6)
- Proficient in Autodesk Build
- Experience developing and maintaining resource-loaded schedules
- Understanding of Earned Value Measurement reporting
- Superior organizational and planning abilities, and time management skills
Working Conditions
- The position requires spending time on construction sites, which may involve exposure to various weather conditions and physical activity
- Regular travel to different construction sites is required
- Flexible working hours may be needed to meet project deadlines
