The Diageo Corporate Relations function is a fully integrated team working across Diageo’s society, communications, and government relations agenda. Corporate Relations’ role is to protect and promote Diageo’s reputation and licence to operate, in service of becoming one of the best performing, most trusted, and respected consumer products companies in the world.

It consists of three key teams: The Global Brand and Communications team encompasses internal employee engagement and external communications focused on telling our story, inspiring our people, and building, influencing, and enhancing our reputation. The Government and Policy team focus on all aspects of tax, trade, and regulation across the business while maintaining relationships with multilateral organisations and Trade Associations. The Spirit of Progress team works on all our community empowerment, skills development, and environmental programmes. Their mission is to unlock the power of our business to deliver Diageo’s Spirit of Progress goals by creating a more inclusive and sustainable world while protecting our licence to operate and enhancing our licence to grow.

On this two-year rotation programme within Corporate Relations, you’ll get to experience two different roles within these teams. You will build your expertise across multiple disciplines including public policy management, government relations, corporate communications, community engagement initiatives, stakeholder management, media relations strategy development, social responsibility programs implementation among others. Through hands-on learning with iconic projects that influence public perception and policy for Diageo globally as well as through formal training sessions and mentoring opportunities you will be inspired to excel while developing critical skills necessary for leadership roles. By the end of the programme you will have a deep understanding of Diageo's operations within Corporate Relations which will empower you to follow various career paths within this vital function at an accelerated pace.

Who are we looking for?

On the qualification side, you’ll need to have acquired or be expecting to obtain an academic degree and be graduating in 2026 or within the last 2 years. You must be proficient in English, and with opportunities across Europe you must be mobile and prepared to relocate geographically during the programme.

We’re looking for curious, flexible, self-motivated team players who turn ideas into action—and who bring integrity, respect, and a passion for learning every day. As we shape the future of our Corporate Relations function we especially welcome applicants with a passion for data and analytics.

Most importantly be you. Bring your ideas, your ambition, and your unique talent. We’ll celebrate it and empower you to reach your full potential.
